Savings

Our personal savings account is available with combined statements, free Internet banking, and free postage prepaid bank-by-mail envelopes.  This account offers tiered rates, whereby the higher the account balance, the greater the interest rate that is paid on the entire collected balance.  The minimum opening balance is $100.00 and the minimum balance to avoid the $5.00 monthly maintenance charge is $1,000.00.  We waive the monthly maintenance charge, regardless of balance, if the savings account is on combined statement with a personal checking account.  The monthly maintenance charge can also be waived by maintaining $25,000.00 or more in non-CD balances at the bank.
 
We have a special savings account for minors (under 18 years of age) with a balance requirement of just $50.00 to open the account and to avoid monthly maintenance charges.
